Shannon and Ryan’s intimate backyard wedding in Bedford, VA last month was so perfect, even despite the non-stop rain. From a traditional Catholic ceremony to their tented reception at her family’s home, these two never let the weather affect how happy they felt becoming husband and wife, and that’s what I loved about them so much! Shannon looked stunning as a boho bride, complete with a fresh flower crown, bouquet full of wildflowers wrapped in her grandmother’s pearls (we might have shared some tears over drinks when we met to talk about the timeline when Shannon spoke about her grandmother), and a beautiful, flowy dress – perfect for her free spirit. Ryan looked rapper in his blue suit, and that succulent!? I was obsessed with it! It was such an honor to be the one to document their special day, and I loved the sweet toasts and parent dances! I know Shannon’s parents and Ryan’s parents were just so proud of their babies! Catie, Shannon’s best friend and Maid of Honor, was so sweet and absolutely gorgeous in her blush and gold, sequined dress! SO pretty! I nearly forgot to mention that Ryan is from where I’m from – Denver, CO, so it was great to be around a bunch of *real* Broncos fans! Goooooo Broncos!
It was such a fun party, and I hope you enjoy some favorites from the day!
