This blush and gold Suffolk, VA wedding inspiration shoot at The Historic Obici House was an absolute dream to photograph, and I certainly hope I get the opportunity to go back to Hampton Roads, Virginia soon enough to document someone’s big day at this absolutely stunning venue! The Obici House has just perfect, beautiful light pouring in, and the acres of green on the property make it perfect for all of the golf lovers in HRVA!
This styled shoot was a part of the first Built With Love Workshop, hosted by my sweet friends, Tara Liebeck Photography and Michelle Amarillo Event Planning. These two women are just extraordinary, and this workshop was a real turning point in my business. The super intimate setting and amount of knowledge allowed me to dig deep into the core of Bethanne Arthur Photography, and I will always be grateful for how on fire my heart was for my couples and my work after leaving there. Tara is someone who is so sweet, but she’s so helpful too. She’s not one to just tell you what you want to hear; she looked at me and told me what I needed to hear in order to be better. I will always owe Tara so much more than I could ever really express, and I am so glad that she has become a really good friend in my life!
