Kathleen and Travis are celebrating one year of marriage together this summer, and I am excited to share this sweet, casual anniversary session with everyone today! These two live in the Winchester, VA area, and I am so grateful that they ventured up to Harpers Ferry for their couples’ session!

This day…oh it was a cold one! I actually remember pulling out of my driveway and seeing snowflakes falling down! It made me a bit nervous because I hadn’t expected it to be quite that cold, but these guys showed up with huge smiles and they were ready to rock their session out together…in the cold! I told them it was just an excuse to get super close and snuggly, anyways!

The first year of marriage is full of so much joy, so many “firsts,” and I could just see the love between these two so easily! I absolutely loved capturing them in this cute little little historic town, and we had so much fun exploring some of the different nooks and crannies and gorgeous old buildings – many of which have been there since the early-to-mid 1800’s!
