Jess + Justin | Maryland Maternity Photo Session at Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD | East Coast Lifestyle Photographer

Jess and Justin are expecting their first child – a baby boy! – in less than a month, and I had the honor of documenting this incredibly beautiful and amazing time in their lives as they begin to transition from a family of two to a family of three. We have a mutual friend, Jessica May, who actually connected us, and I am so glad that she did because Jess and Justin are such a wonderful couple, and I am so excited for them to welcome their sweet bundle so very soon!

On the day of their shoot, we met at Antietam National Battlefield park in Sharpsburg, Maryland, and immediately I knew this would be a killer shoot because Jess stepped out in the stunning, teal maternity gown from Sew Trendy Accessories. I had seen these dresses before on different photographers’ social media pages and websites, but I had never had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful mama-to-be in one of these popular dresses before! Until now of course!

Working with these two was so much fun, and I felt like I walked away with two new good friends. They kept me laughing, they rocked their poses like no other, and I absolutely love the magic that happened that day! Jess was just glowing, and I am just so happy that they wanted me to be a part of their lives in this way and create some special and priceless memories for them. These photos will hang on the walls of their home; they will be placed in frames to sit on mantles and be wrapped for grandparents afar. Their baby boy will see these photos one day, and he will be able to see how beautiful his mother was while carrying him. It’s just so beautiful you guys!!! I love photographing maternity sessions, and these two especially!

Jess and Justin….congratulations (in advance) you guys on the arrival of your baby boy! I am so excited for you both to experience parenthood, and if you thought you knew what love was now…just wait until you are look into the eyes of your son for the first time! It will be a breathtaking moment…the best of your entire lives.

Not only did Jess rock this gorgeous teal maternity gown, but she also wore a beautiful and lush floral crown, created by one of my favorite florists in the DMV area – Lauren with So Lovely Weddings and Blooms. I love how the purple and teal pop and compliment each other so perfectly! And Justin was looking pretty sharp that day, too!

These two look like they walked right out of a fashion magazine; Jess looks SO cute in her ankle booties and fur vest…I can’t even pull this look off not being pregnant, let alone nearly 9 months pregnant!

I am certain that their baby boy will be extra stylish too!
