Northern Virginia In-Home Lifestyle Photographer | Spiller Family
Being a lifestyle photographer is such a joy to me, especially when I get to capture newborns and families within their comfiest element, because I get to just really stand or sit back and let them be themselves. There is very little direction and posing, if at all, and I love to just wait for the moments that call to be captured, to be frozen in time. I want to give my families the most precious of memories because when baby Charlie is grown up, they will have these to look back on. They will be able to remember this very day…this time when he was so tiny and fit right into their embracing arms. They will be able to look at these photos and just simply live in that day and feel the love and joy that they felt during those oh-so-amazing moments. That…to me…is the BEST thing in the world about being a lifestyle photographer. I can capture them just as they are….so beautiful, content, happy. Bringing home a new baby is one of the GREATEST feelings in the world. Bringing home a new baby and watching your first-born with them……..ahhh!!! Excuse me while I melt into a puddle on the floor!!! I can still remember what it was like for Noah to meet Aislynn! Such a great day!
Sarah contacted me while still pregnant with her second child because she was interested in having photos taken of her family of (almost) four within their home in Northern Virginia. I have such a love for newborn lifestyle photo sessions, so of course I was so excited to meet Sarah and her little family! And what a beautiful family they are! Baby boy Charlie was welcomed into the world this past summer in July, and I just loved getting to hang out with them, and big sister Claire, for a couple of hours!
Enjoy some of my favorites from the Spiller family’s lifestyle session, and be sure to check out the feature over on Beauty & Lifestyle Mommy too!
